Join us for an evening of short ‘taster’ talks and discussions exploring some of the themes in our Modern Scottish Women exhibition.
Speakers include: Glasgow-based contemporary artist Kate Davis who will be screening her 2014 film Weight (made with support from BBC Arts); poet, performer Rachel McCrum; an artist talk by photographer Wendy McMurdo; and playwright Anna Carlisle and actor Alexandra Mathie from Heroica Theatre Company speaking about the development of their new play on the life of Joan Eardley: Joan Eardley: A Private View.
The event will be hosted by Alice Strang, Senior Curator at the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art.
Our pay-bar will be serving drinks and snacks.
